Connect Virgin Router to Modem

You have to place the router
near to the modem connected to the ISP server.
2.
Connect the Ethernet cable to
the router WAN port and insert the other end to the LAN port of modem.

Turn on the router and modem
after the cable connection.
You can also connect the router to the ISP
socket directly, which you can do with the help of the co-axial cable. Connect
this cable to the ISP socket, and connect other end to the router WAN port. But
after that, you must activate modem mode from the Web interface of the Virgin Media.
Configure Router with App
Smartphone
To install the app in
your smartphone, connect the phone to the Virgin media hub> open Play
Store> search and download Virgin media connect app.
If you have My Virgin
Media account, then simply access the app dashboard using your Email ID and
password. If you don’t have any account, then tap on Sign Up button and enter
your Email ID, Name and generate password. Now, you can connect your WiFi through
Virgin router login to your home network.
iPhone
To install the app in
your iPhone, connect the phone to the Virgin media hub> open App Store>
search and download Virgin media connect app.

Configure Router with Computer
1. To configure the extender,
connect your computer to the Virgin router network.
2. Go in to the web browser and
enter the IP address 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.
3. You will reach to the login page
of the router interface and enter the username and password.
4. You will find the login
credentials on the label or in the user manual of the WiFirouter.

Log In (button) to the interface, where you can setup the Virgin router
settings and networks
There are two devices in the Virgin booster
package. One will connect with cable and other will connect wirelessly. So,
let’s start the Virgin Media booster setup;
Connect WiFi Booster to Virgin Router
Plug first extender to the plug near to the
router and connect it to the router with the help of Ethernet cable. Then, set
the other booster device.
1. Plug the extender in to the power
wall outlet.
2. Turn it on by pressing the power
button.
3. Press the WPS button on the
router.
4. Then, press the WPS button on the
extender.
5. Both the devices will connect
with each other automatically.
Troubleshooting
Tips
Restart
By restarting therouter, you will refresh
all the settings and hardware parts easily. There are two methods to do that;
1.
Find the router power button
and press it twice (first press will turn the router off and second press will
turn it on).
2.
Unplug the power from the power
wall socket and plug it again to turn it on again or restart it.
Reset
If restarting the router not working then
you can reset the router with the help of the given instructions;
1.
Find the Reset button.
2.
Press and hold it about 10
seconds.
3.
It will be a pinhole so use a
sharp object.
Now, reset process is done and all the
settings will set default, so you have to configure the router again.
